General.

  • Everest. Rental is located in North Eppendorf. The best way to reach us is by car. We recommend using car sharing services.

    The rental is part of the Meistermeile, a modern commercial complex in Offakamp. You enter the site via the access road from Offakamp. You can find the house number at the left end of the building wing.

  • For short pick-ups, we would ask you to use the signposted visitor parking spaces. If these are occupied, please go to the side streets. For longer camera and light checks, we will be happy to provide you with a parking space by arrangement. Please register this together with your rent. The parking spaces in the rest of the yard are private parking spaces. We ask for respect towards our neighbors.

  • We work with list prices that are customary in the industry, which entail a special discount structure. These list prices are not comparable to online daily rental prices as they are designed to be discounted. Feel free to send us an inquiry with a list of the desired material and we will send you an offer for your calculation on the same day.

  • You can get the usual tapes, eye leather, Kimwipes and foils from us at any time. Feel free to mention more specific items in your request and we will take care of it for you.

  • Sure, of course. We have already prepared a place for you on our prepfloor. Use our charts to measure optics, prepare your setup and let us supply you with extra accessories and flat whites.

Renting.

  • Your rental will be checked and packed by us on the working day (except Saturday) before use. You can pick up your rental from 2 p.m. without prior arrangement. As a rule, we arrange a pick-up time by telephone, e-mail or in person in order to be able to guarantee you the best possible service.

  • Your ordered material will be packed by us the day before and will be ready for you immediately after your arrival. Together we will go through your order. If you have any questions, our staff is always at your side. If everything fits, you sign the delivery note and you're good to go.

    We attach great importance to a quick and smooth exchange of goods. That's why we have already prepared your material on suitable trolleys for you to transport via one of our freight elevators. These lead you directly back to the inner courtyard, from where you can load the material directly into your vehicle.

    Next time we'll see you at the return. You can find the return time on your offer or on the delivery note. We hope you took a coffee to-go with you!

  • You have the option of returning the rented equipment on the last day of use within our business hours. Otherwise, as noted on your quote, we would ask you to return your material by 11:30am the following business day (Saturday excluded). Night and weekend returns via the box are also possible. Talk to us about it.

  • No problem. We are happy to check the availability of your desired items and then book them for you in our system.

  • That can always happen. It is always important to us to be informed about this at an early stage. If it's only a few hours and the equipment isn't already booked on another project, we'll just take it back. In the case of a late return delivery, which collides with other projects of ours, we unfortunately have to charge you for an additional rental day and possibly courier costs or similar.

  • Call us on 040 57309555 and we'll see together what we can offer you for a spontaneous extension.

  • In principle, we only charge for days of shooting.

    If you are traveling with the equipment, half a calculation day is incurred per travel day.

  • We require production insurance for every rental. This is also our clear recommendation.

    If the material has to be insured through us, an insurance rate of 5% applies to our rental prices for the material.

  • We do our best to ensure that your project continues successfully. In such an emergency, the best way to reach us is by phone on 040 57309555. We make every effort to provide you with an equivalent alternative as quickly as possible.

  • But sure. We all started out small and didn't know who to ask. So just ask us. Please send us an email to rent@everest.camera and we will see together whether we can support you with your project.

  • If you want to return outside of our business hours, you are welcome to use one of our boxes. These are also on our floor. You will receive a key for each box, which you can put in the key safe next to our main entrance once the rental has been completed and it has been safely stowed away in the box. If we have any questions about the material, we will get back to you within 24 hours. Otherwise you will simply receive an invoice.

  • Of course, we look forward to timely communication for projects that have already been confirmed.

    In principle, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the project if we receive a cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the project.

    In most cases, however, we find a good solution outside of this rule.

  • Feel free to contact us, we would be happy to recommend various freelancers. We are happy to be able to provide qualified personnel for productions at any time.

  • Don't be afraid to ask us about technology that you can't find on our site. We do everything we can to organize your desired technology.

Cars.

  • The pick-up time for your vehicle begins with the planning period of your project. You can find the period in your offer and on the packing list. Have a good trip.

  • The deductible for all vehicles is 650 euros. However, you can reduce the deductible to zero euros with our Supercover. Talk to us about it. We'll be happy to set it up for you.

  • In principle, we only rent vehicles together with equipment that was requested. In individual cases, however, we deviate from this. As always, feel free to contact us.

  • Always keep calm first. Make sure nobody got hurt. Next, report your accident directly to the police and have it recorded accordingly. Regardless of the question of guilt. If you do not report an accident to the police, your insurance cover will also expire and you will assume full liability for damage to our vehicle.

  • You will receive a set of keys for each of our vehicles. This set consists of the vehicle key and a transmitter for the parking space,

  • Yes! Our vehicles have shelves. Depending on the vehicle, the shelves are even modular and can be partially or even completely removed if your job requires it. By default, each vehicle is equipped with shelves. If you know you won't need shelves, let us know. We will prepare your vehicle accordingly.

  • Each of our vehicles is handed over to you with a full tank. Please make sure that you bring the vehicle back to the yard with a full tank of fuel.

    If you forget to refuel or just didn't have time to refuel, we will refuel the vehicle for you. We will then charge you for the cost of fuel and a service fee of 15 euros.

  • All kilometers are included for projects in and around Hamburg. For longer journeys, we offer our long-distance daily rates and then calculate the kilometers separately. Mileage prices vary from vehicle to vehicle. You will always find these prices in our offer together with the daily rental price. Fuel costs are not included in kilometer prices.
